Long week. . .

June 5, 2008

Getting used to this working thing. Nice thoughts though as I approach my first paycheck tomorrow. Training is going well. Been listening to a guy named Grabowski all week who is just a blast. Everything is funny to him. He has been a blast! He’s a trainer with the company and assures us that we are going to be great at this job, while making big bucks. Very nice to know. He started there three years ago when his video business fell apart due to the influx of Netflix and other mail order video clubs. I’m not going to bore you with the training. Basic computer systems and rules this week. Next week, phones and calls.

Got new tires. YEAH!

I’ve been going home after work and pretty much collapsing. I have to say though that getting up and out of the house feels good. To be among the living. Nice. And getting paid for it too.

I’m on a journey to find the best egg rolls and pot stickers around.

I spoke with my friend Mark last night. He is doing very well out in Massachusetts and New York. He is a house and pet sitter. He has also started his own business performing Reiki and selling crystals. These are interests that he has had since I’ve known him and I’m glad to see that he’s sharing his gifts with others. I can tell you that I’ve experienced his healing powers myself. Many times. Last night as I was on the phone with him he was making guacamole. He reminded me that Linda, him and I used to make it when we were together.

Linda, Mark says, “Hi” and hopes you are well.

  1. We found the best eggrolls, remember? Our friend Mark took us to that Chinese restaurant in the city for eggrolls.
